Bentley Software World Conference Video and Show

Overview

Telly Award winner, the Bentley Systems International Users Conference video is an example of a creative team working in the zone. No Ink was involved in the initial meetings with the client, who wanted to introduce the world to their innovative engineering and modeling software solutions. Under my design direction and team leadership, we developed all of the visual concepts, video, and motion graphics (and were responsible for editing and putting together all elements of the video(s) for the final production. As Creative Director and Principal of my company at the time, we produced all of the video work in conjunction with the show’s producers, Unipro Marketing (now Articulate Creative Communications ).

The “video” actually was a series of testimonials, vignettes, demonstration backdrops, and speaker introduction screens that played to a large audience at Bentley’s International Users Conference. We helped develop the theme of the entire video and graphical presence at the conference: “The Evolution of Communication.” Teams of videographers from around the world interviewed famous architects and engineers, from which we created individual testimonial videos that could be repurposed later for other presentations and media. These were created and produced, along with the five-minute product introduction video, and the speaker introduction modules that played on huge screens on the stage as the famous speakers were being introduced.

As a direct result of the success of our work on these videos, we were hired the following year to create all the video for the 2001 International Users Conference, for which we won another Telly Award!
